A CRM shaped around your industry, not the other way around.

Every business tracks different data. An auto workshop needs the vehicle plate, an estate agent the floor area, a web agency the project type. Custom fields let you capture exactly the information you need – right on leads and opportunities.

Every industry tracks different data – EasyCRM adapts

Standard fields cover name, company, phone, and email. But an auto workshop also needs the vehicle plate and year of manufacture. An estate agent wants to see the property type and desired location on a lead. A web agency notes the preferred technology stack or budget size. You define custom fields in settings – without writing code. You fill them in on the lead and opportunity forms.

  • Track licence plate and vehicle type for auto workshops
  • Record property address or floor area for estate agents
  • Store the company registration number on a lead or opportunity
  • Note project type or technology stack for agencies
  • Log preferred contact time or account manager name
  • Define fields in settings without writing code

The number of custom fields grows with your plan

Custom fields are a feature for growing teams that want a CRM configured to their workflow. The Free plan does not include custom fields. The Standard plan allows up to 10 custom fields, which is enough for most small businesses. The Pro plan has no limit – create as many fields as your industry requires. Fields are managed in settings by a user with the permission to manage custom fields.

  • Free plan – no custom fields
  • Standard plan – up to 10 custom fields
  • Pro plan – unlimited custom fields
  • Fields are created and managed by a user with the right permission
  • A field can be required or optional
  • Field types: text, number, date, yes/no, select and multiselect

Custom field values are also available through the REST API

You can read and write custom field values of contacts, leads and opportunities through the REST API, so you can connect them to your own system. The API exposes field definitions separately. The REST API is part of the Standard and Pro plans, and access is governed by API token scopes.

  • Read custom field values through the REST API
  • Write custom field values through the REST API
  • Field definitions available through the API
  • Access governed by API token scopes

A CRM that reflects how your business actually works

  • Capture exactly the data your industry needs
  • An auto workshop tracks the vehicle plate right on the lead
  • An estate agent keeps the property address, type and price on the opportunity
  • A web agency records project type and estimated budget on the opportunity
  • A hotel sales rep stores the conference date and required number of rooms
  • You set fields up in settings without a developer

Questions about custom fields

A user with the permission to manage custom fields creates them in EasyCRM settings. You enter the field name and key, choose a type (text, number, date, yes/no, select or multiselect) and the record it applies to – contact, lead or opportunity. The field key and record type cannot be changed after creation.

It depends on your plan. The Free plan does not support custom fields. The Standard plan allows up to 10 custom fields. The Pro plan has no limit and you can create any number of fields.

On the lead and opportunity forms they appear as additional fields to fill in. The values of contact, lead and opportunity fields are also available through the REST API.

You can edit the field settings; the field key and record type do not change after creation. You can also delete a field – all values stored in that field on individual records are then permanently deleted.

When you create a field you decide whether it is required. An optional field can stay empty without affecting the record.
